Education & Research

The Education and Research department hopes to provide a platform for academic discourse, fieldwork and applied research in the field of Singaporean Chinese music that would be useful for the development of the Chinese music community, industry and practitioners in Singapore and beyond.

It aims to undertake projects focused on the documentation and creation of original Singaporean Chinese music research. The department will also look into educational development - in both pedagogy and resources - for Chinese music in Singapore.
